After your wood material has been selected, our craftsmen get to work.

The process begins by removing the bark and sanding smooth the live edges while keeping the natural shape. A modern clean edge is also an option. Each slab gets machine surfaced and pre-sanded to tighten the grain.

We fill voids and cracks with epoxy as needed.

This is a labor intensive process, which typically takes multiple pours to complete. The slab gets sanded again to the desired finish. The edges are eased to perfection before three coats of our industrial-grade catalyzed matte lacquer are applied.
